South Wishaw Parish Church

Loving God - Loving Each Other

We are delighted that most restrictions have been lifted and we are able to open for services with minimal changes to normal practice. This means our new 9.30am Traditional service and our new 11.30am contemporary service can hold more people, with the balcony now out of use to reduce the cost of cleaning. We no longer have to maintain a 1m distance but are advised to keep a reasonable distance from one another to reduce risk. We must still keep our masks on throughout but we can stand, sing and dance (though only on the spot!).  Our 11.30am service is live streamed on our facebook page (see below).

We are also now able to facilitate funerals in our building and regret the disappointment caused to those for whom we were not able to do this over the last 17 months.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------EVERYONE IS WELCOME

We are a family Church serving God in the Wishaw area. We are a part of The Church of Scotland; the national Church in Scotland. Regionally, we come under the Presbytery of Hamilton

At South Wishaw we like to think of ourselves as welcoming and friendly and you will be made most welcome if you join us on in-person or online. Click here to be redirected.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------TRY PRAYING

Throughout the pandemic we have been taking part in promoting the Try Praying initiative, which encourages people to spend time with God during a part of their everyday lives. There are free booklets available to help with this next to the banner on our Church railings. Please take two (or more), one for you and the other(s) to pass on.
